Wednesday, Feb. 17

Ofc. Phipps responded to a traffic accident on N. Hwy. 18 involving Helen J. Ewing of Chandler and Keith D. Camren of Agra.

Saturday, Feb. 20

Ofc. Hawkins was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting suspect being detained by Walmart asset protection. Sara Vanfossen was arrested for the Feb. 20 incident and for stealing items from Walmart on Feb. 19 and from Sharpe’s Dept. Store on Feb. 12. Vanfossen was charged with larceny from a retailer, entering with intent to commit larceny and obtaining property by trick or deception.

Ofc. Mustard stopped a driver near S. Dewey Ave. and Fourth St. for going the wrong way on a oneway street. Citations were issued for driving the wrong way on a one-way road and having no insurance. The vehicle was impounded.

Stroud Police
