Mia Callegan, Breanna Guinn and Kalee Peery have been named student Rotarians of the Month for March.

Mia Callegan is the daughter of Josh and Jessi Floyd and the younger child of five siblings.

After high school, she plans to attend Oklahoma State University, majoring in statistics and analytics with a minor in mathematics.

Callegan has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school while still having straight A’s and a 24 on her ACT.

She is an active member of both her school and community.

She is vice president of her class and other high school activities include basketball, PSI, Positive Peers, BancFirst Student Board, NHS vice president, Chandler’s Rotary club and Chandler’s Lion of the Month. Callegan has helped participate in skits like “Girl Power, Wise Guys” with PSI, crafted holiday cards for residents at nursing homes numerous times, and gave gifts to children for Christmas.

She is also active in her free time, maintaining a job throughout the school year.

Breanna Guinn is the daughter of Justin and Rikki Guinn.

After graduating, she plans to attend Oklahoma State University to major in biochemistry and molecular biology and then attend veterinary school to become a veterinarian.

Guinn has maintained a 3.9 GPA throughout high school and has made the Superintendent’s Honor Roll for three years, as well as won the Award of Academic Excellence for three years and the OSU Academic Excellence Scholarship.

Groups that she has been involved in include yearbook, Gifted and Talented, Lions Club, BancFirst Student Board, Business Professionals of America and FCCLA.

Kalee Peery is the daughter of Fred and Kristi Peery.

After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma to pursue a degree in Interior Design.

Peery maintains a 4.0 GPA and has been enrolled in four years of honors English classes and one year of an honors math class. She is currently enrolled in concurrent classes and will graduate with 12 credit hours toward her future college education.

She has worked hard for her education and sports while attending Chandler High School.

She has been invited to attend the CHS Academic Banquet for four years and has made Superintendent’s Honor Roll for four years as well.

Her sophomore year, she set a State Squat Record for the 121-lb girls’ weight class. During her varsity pom squad career, she has received OSDTDA Pom Academic All-State for four years, 2022 DTU Be Bold Award, 2022 OSDTDA 2A/3A/4A State Champion in both Hip Hop and Jazz, and 2023 OSDTDA 3A/4A State Champion in both Hip Hop and Jazz.

Her school activities also include powerlifting, football manager, BPA, PSI, Positive Peers, NHS, President of the Native American Student Association, BancFirst Student Board, Rotary Club, October’s Lion of the Month and Senior Class Treasurer.

Peery is also a member of the Natural Athlete Strength Association, for which she competes in powerlifting at a National level. This is the association with which she received four national records her freshman year and still holds them to this day.

Peery’s community involvement includes Operation Christmas Child, Hiland Dairy Ice Cream Festival, Adopt a Child for Christmas, Wellston First Assembly of God VBS, Oklahoma Special Olympics as a Volunteer and Coach, Chandler Recycles, Girl Power-Wise Guys, and most recently volunteered at Carol Ostwalt’s fundraiser dinner.
