General admission tickets are available for a $20 donation with all proceeds going towards our Bugle Boy which will be placed near our veteran’s memorial at Ed. Smalley Centennial Park.
You may pick up tickets at Stroud Dry Cleaning, Unique Market or by calling me at 918527-9833 or contacting an American Legion Auxiliary member. A big thank you to RCB Bank and BancFirst for sponsoring this evening with and for our veterans.
Refreshments will be served after the show. Transportation is available to and from the event, but you must make your request by Wednesday, November 9th, by calling the same number.

Longtime Stroud resident Wayne Criess passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 85 years. He was a 1954 graduate of Stroud High School and was married to the former Barbara Pomeroy until her death in 2014. Wayne spearheaded the building of the brick and metal entrance to Ed. Smalley Centennial Park. He used his welding skills to design and build the archway which stands atop the brick columns and would accept no payment for his services. A memorial service for Wayne will be held this Friday, October 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church.
Thank you to all the merchants who have decorated their storefronts for Halloween and the fall season. Our Main Street looks quite festive and ready for a bunch of little goblins this coming Monday night. I think the Smalley boys must be growing up because gone this year are the cute dinosaur and Mario Brothers costumes and out come the scary likes of Chucky and Freddy Krueger. I guess boys will be boys.
There is always a lot of activity on Main Street. Shop local and stay abreast of what’s going on in our community. Have a great week and thank you for choosing to shop local...............first!
