Tulsa man faces 2 felonies, 2 misdemeanors

A Tulsa man previously convicted of at least six felonies faces two felonies and two misdemeanors filed against him recently in Lincoln County.

John Samuel Paul Dylan Tiffie, 31, was formally charged in Lincoln County District on March 6, 2025 with two felonies. Those include possession of firearm after former felony conviction and driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

The two misdemeanors against him are two counts of possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

Associate District Judge Joseph Doby set bond for Tiffie at $25,000. He made his initial appearance on March 13 and his pre-preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. March 27.

Count 1 accuses Tiffie of possession of firearm after former felony conviction. The information states on March 3, 2025 Tiffie had in his possession in a vehicle he was operating a handgun located in the driver’s door compartment after he had been convicted in Tulsa County District Court on March 22, 2013 of possession of a firearm after juvenile adjudication.

In count 2, Tiffie is accused of driving while under the influence of drugs on March 3, 2025 by operating a motor vehicle on SH 66 in Wellston while under the influence of an intoxicating substance.

Counts 3 and 4 charge Tiffie with possession of CDS. One of those is for possessing Methamphetamine and the other is for possession and having under his control Xanax, Hydrocodone and/or Amphetamine on March 3, 2025.

Supplemental information filed in the case by Assistant District Attorney Kelly Trimble shows several prior felony convictions.

They include: On May 30, 2013 convicted in Tulsa County District Court of two separate cases of driving under the influence.

On Aug. 3, 2022 convicted in Tulsa County District Court of two separate cases, driving under the influence of drugs and second degree burglary.

On March 22, 2022 convicted in Tulsa County District Court of concealing stolen property.
