Julie Brydon, a senior at Prague High School was awarded the Philanthropic Educational Organization Star Scholarship. The $2,500 scholarship is based on excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, academics and potential for future success.
Brydon, the daughter of Doug and Marria Brydon, was recommended for the scholarship by P.E.O. Chapter BZ of Wewoka, Okla. She has been accepted and will attend Oklahoma State University in Stillwater where she plans to study medicine beginning in the fall.
