The McLoud City Council, meeting as the Public Works Authority recently, has approved a bid for a new computer system for its wastewater treatment plant.
The PWA’s action came during an emergency meeting.

“The new system is upgradable to take care of future needs,” Day noted.
Day said the system is called a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System and the old one went back. “It was somewhat antiquated, it’s been here since 2004,” the city manager stated.
