Phyllis Ann (Evans) Morton was born December 5, 1941, in Warwick and died Sunday, May 2, 2021, in Chandler. She was 79 years old.
Morton, the daughter of Argyle Wayne and Juanita Mae (Hopkins) Evans, married Gene Morton on December 24, 1960.
She was of the Christian faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, her brother Don Evans, sister Anita (Evans) Stidham and brother-in-law MK Stidham, sister-in-law Lorene (Dostal) Evans; her son Kirby Morton and one grandson.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, LaGina (Morton) and Gary Hodson, Karmon (Morton) and Chad Cox; her daughter-in-law LouAnn Kalka; her sister Janna (Evans) Stieber and brother-in-law Jackie Stieber; nine grandchildren and their spouses; eight great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, May 6, 2021, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements.
