Florence Lucille “Hobbs” Smith was born October 20 1966 in Oklahoma City, and departed this life November 1, 2022 at her home near Chandler Oklahoma, at the age of 56 years.
Florence, better know as Lucy to family and friends, She was the daughter of Norris and Josie Ann Hobbs.
Florence worked as a dietary aid at Stroud Health Care Center, and loved taking care of people. Lucy was a country girl at heart she loved caring for her many animals, Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Norris Hobbs and Josie Hobbs Wheeler, Grandparents Ulysses & Florence Maddox, Grandmother Velma Lucille Hobbs, and one niece Rebekha Stratton.
Survivors include two brothers, Morris V Hobbs and wife Violet of Council Hill Oklahoma, John H Hobbs of Chandler Oklahoma, one sister, Eva Ann Gorrell and husband Rick of Oklahoma City, several nieces and nephews, lots of cousins, and many friends that were blessed to have known her. Lucy was loved and will be missed by all.
