Gwendolyn Whitecotton was born January 2, 1939, in Escanaba, Mich. She died Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the age of 82 years.
Whitecotton, the daughter of Samuel S. Stepp and Frances M. (Posenke) Stepp, married Raymon Whitecotton on September 14, 1957, in Henryetta, Okla.
She worked as a baker, seamstress and was also a team truck driver with her husband.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and her brother Paul Stepp.
Survivors include her sister-in-law Louise Buckley and other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., today, July 22, 2021 at Nazarene Church in Davenport with Pastor Keith Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler under the direction of Affordable Cremation Service in Oklahoma City.
