Jesse Ray Stewart was born to Mildred (Horner) England and Millard Stewart on March 14, 1958, in Chandler. He died Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 63 years.
A 1976 Chandler High School graduate, Jesse served in the United States Army for 20 years and was otherwise self-employed.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Carl Varner and Jackie Stewart; and an infant grandson.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Jessica and Lillard Barrett of Cottonwood, Ariz., Jerri Stewart and Julia Stewart, both of Oklahoma City, and Jesse and Meg Stewart of Wellston; his siblings and their spouses Tom and Linda Varner of Norman, Okla., and Janie Varner of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; and other family and friends.
A memorial service was held Friday, January 28, 2022, at Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
