Johnny Darrell Byford was born to Vernon and Bonnie (Miller) Byford on November 25, 1941, in Davenport. He died Wednesday, September 2, 2020, in Chandler at the age of 78 years.
Johnny was raised by his grandparents, Levi and Smantha (Clarkson) Miller and graduated from Chandler School in 1959. He served in the United States Army and owned and operated Schultz Body Shop.
Preceding him in death were his parents and grandparents.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Dee (Masquat) Byford of the home; his children, Richard, Kimberly and Leslie; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held Friday, September 4, 2020, at New Zion Cemetery in Chandler under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
