Kenneth Wayne Criess was born June 3, 1936, in Stroud and died Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was 85 years old.
Criess was the son of Walter and Alzenia (Rainwater) Criess. He married Barbara Pomeroy Criess on May 19, 1955, in Stroud.
A 1954 graduate of Stroud High School, he worked as a welder.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, his son Alan Criess, daughter Tina Criess Winger and his sister Jean Ridel.
Survivors include his daughter, E. Colleen Dickey and son-in-law Larry Dickey; six grandchildren; three brothers, Ray Criess, Dean Criess and Leslie Criess; and other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
