Marvin “Bud” Thomas Carter of Wellston was born to Marvin and Sherry Carter of Newalla, Okla., on December 25, 1965, in Lawton, Okla. He died Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the age of 56 years.
Bud worked as Director of Civil for Aerial Tower.
His maternal and paternal grandparents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his parents; his wife of 26 years Bonnie (McCoy) Carter of the home; his children and their spouses, Christopher Carter of Midwest City, Okla., Dustin Story of Meridian, Okla., Brittany and Nathan King of Shawnee, Okla., Amy Carter and J.D. Eyestone, Zachary and Emilee Carter and Dylan Carter and Kenzie Kulp, all of Wellston.
He is also survived by his sisters, Marcia Stewart of Tecumseh, Okla., and Sharon Fry of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; and other family and friends.
A funeral will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022, at Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston with Bro. Lane Buckley officiating. Burial will follow at Carney Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
