Myrtle Sarah (Gayman) Robinson was born to Garold “Jack” and Ova (Taylor) Gayman on July 24, 1937, in Wellston. She died Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in Meeker at the age of 83 years.
Robinson attended school in Warwick and Wellston and worked at the bakery in Chandler.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her son Nip Ballew; her brothers, Garold Gayman Jr., William Gayman, George Gayman and Loyed Gayman; and an infant grandchild.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Olen M. Robinson of the home; her children, Jerrolean Eversole of Enid, Okla., Kip Ballew and wife Cindy of Duncan, Okla., Teresa Holland and husband Delbert of Chandler, Sherial Clark of Chandler, and Olen R. Robinson of Davenport.
She is also survived by her siblings, John Gayman of North Carolina and Emma Wright of Wellston; over 60 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
A funeral was held Friday, March 12, 2021 in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. The Rev. Doyle Seeley officiated and burial followed at Star Valley Cemetery, Warwick.
