Ouida Joyce Ross Lewis

Ouida Joyce Ross Lewis was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. She left this earthly life on Aug. 20, 2022, to be with our heavenly father and her beloved husband, Charles Lewis, who passed 2 1/2 yrs. ago. They had been married for 68 years.

She was born in Greenville, Texas March 10, 1933 to Ruby and Jesse Ross. She was the oldest of six children. She was a homemaker and also dabbled in interior design. Her great love was playing bridge. She excelled at it and had attained a high game status in the bridge world. She and husband Chuck traveled and enjoyed going to visit family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother; father; two brothers, Benton, James Ross; her sister Betty Pyle.

She is survived by her sister Pam Vogt of Vail, Colo., brother David Ross of Dallas, Texas, her children Beverly Bowen of Meeker, Okla., Chuck Lewis II of Tulsa, Okla., and Brad Lewis, of Talequah, Okla.; grandchildren Rashael Petzer, Cavan Jones, Ciera Dotson, Christa Iglesias, Alicia Deer and Diana Munoz; great grandchildren Ty, Rhonan, Raevan, Rayne, Beau, Haisley, soon to be Oaklynn, Miracle, Cruz, Avery and Sadie.

She will be extremely missed, will always be remembered, loved, and thought of often.
