Raymond Lee Ballard was born November 19, 1951, in Vinita, Okla. He died Thursday, June 17, 2021 at his home in Carney. He was 69 years old.
Ballard, the son of Hugh and Bonnita (Straw) Ballard, married Reecie Tate on August 30, 1969, in Whittier, Calif.
He worked for Capital Steel Company in Oklahoma City.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother Larry and one granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife Reecie Ballard; four daughters, April Koert, Michelle Brewer and Kathleen Stovall, all of Oklahoma City and Christeen McKinney of Spiro, Okla.; one son, Charles Ballard of Oklahoma City; his sister Joyce Ballard and brother Jerry Ballard, both of Oklahoma City; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the Carney Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Coffey officiating. Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
