Tommy Dewayne Phipps of Chandler was born October 1, 1943, in Petaluma, Calif. He died Saturday, August 29, 2020, at the age of 76 years.
Phipps, the son of Curtis and Jeannine Phipps, married Beaulah (Stiner) Phipps in 1969.
He worked as a cement truck driver.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Johnny Douglas; two sisters, Elizabeth Childress and Vickie McKinzie; his stepson Johnnie
Jones; and a grandmother.
Survivors include his wife; stepdaughters, Ginger Rusch and husband Rick, Sherry Carder, and Jeanie Jones and husband Stephen Fuhrman; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and Jim Wade, Sonja Ward, and Judy and Ron Brown; his brother and sister-in-law Curtis and Jonit a Phipps; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
