Carolyn Sue Stallings was born Sept. 10, 1945 in Yale, Okla. to James and Bertha (Johnston) Akins. She died peacefully in her home May 6, 2022 in Wellston at the age of 76.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earnest, Benny, Jimmy, Randy; sisters, Gayleen, Hazel, Barbara; and a grandchild and great-grandchild.
Survivors include her siblings, Verlon Brown, Claudine Pierce, Joann Pryor, Jerry Akins, Tommy Akins, Debra Marriot, Sarah Longeway; children, Della Mitchell, Mona Leal, Kimberly Leal, Joy Schrimsher; 11 grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren and other family and friends.
A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home in Wellston.
