Clarence Weldon Wright, also known as Teeny, was born October 31, 1941 to Clarence and Birdie (Rue) Wright. He passed away June 28, 2023 in Norman at the age of 81.
Weldon owned and operated restaurants as well as vending machines. He later spent a few years as a car salesman until retirement.
Weldon was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Birdie Wright; and his junior high school sweetheart and wife of 22 years, Ira (Willeford) Wright. Survivors include his brother, Delton Wright of Duncan; daughters, Lisa McClain of Norman, Terri Mitchell of Lawton; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the White Bead Cemetery in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
