David Gerald Waner of Chandler was born June 9, 1944, in Guthrie, Okla. He died Monday, March 23, 2020, in Chandler at the age of 75 years.
Waner, the son of Gerald Gilbert and Mary Pearl (Simpson) Waner, married Dorothy Jane Weigand in November 1978.
He was an aircraft mechanic and ran his own company, Waner Aviation, before becoming a rancher. He was a member of Presbyterian Church in Chandler.
His parents and his wife preceded him in death.
Survivors include four children, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and other relatives and friends.
A private family burial will be held at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler with a memorial service pending. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
