Floyd L. Lashly, age 88 of Sioux Falls, S.D., died Dec. 12, 2020 at Sanford, Sioux Falls S.D.
He was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Maud, Okla. to Floyd L. Lashly Sr. and Violet V. (Farmer) Lashly.
Lashly worked for the US Public Health Service/ Indian Health administration. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sioux Falls, S.D. and served in the US Army, US Public Health Service.
On May 26, 1962, he married Carrie Moore in Chandler, Okla.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Violet Lashly; step-mother, Mildred Lashly; and brother-in-law, Dean Cochran.
Survivors include his daughters, Kelly Lashly, Sioux Falls, S.D., Kathy (Mark) Sundvold, Sioux Falls, S.D.; two grandchildren; sister, Mary Sue Cochran, Chandler, Okla.; brother-in-law, Richard (Mary) Lashly, Lewisville, Texas; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. June 18, 2022 at Chandler Cemetery in Chandler Okla., with Rev. Kelly J. Lashly officiating. Arrangements are by Miller Funeral Home Sioux Falls, S.D.
