Jimmie Dean (McMenis) Caldwell was born April 4, 1941, in Sulphur, Okla. She died Friday, September 3, 2021, at her home in Chandler. She was 80 years old.
Caldwell was an accomplished seamstress and active in her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Paul and Dena (Chambers) McMenis, her sister Rosemary (McMenis) Giger and her brother James Paul McMenis Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, J.F. Caldwell; her daughter Dena Duke of Shawnee, Okla.; one son, Randy Caldwell of Chandler; her sister Paula S ue Henrickson of Florida; three grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; five greatgreat grandchildren; and other family and friends.
A funeral was held Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. Burial followed at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler with the Rev. Keith Cole officiating.
