Linda Carol Galloway

Long-time Chandler resident Linda Carol Galloway was born June 18, 1943, in Oklahoma City. She died Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at her home in Chandler at the age of 78 years.

Galloway, the daughter of Charles and Rosie (Bell) Sullivan, married Jerry Gough and after his death in 1971, she then married Ted Galloway.

A 1960 graduate of Wellston High School, she owned and operated the Chandler Hardware Store and worked in various other places in the area.

Preceding her in death were her parents; both husbands; one son, Phillip “Spanky” Gough; two sisters, Lois Helm and Virgie Brown; and three brothers, Floyd Sullivan, Johnnie Sullivan and Delbert Sullivan.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Vernon and Karen Gough and Paul Gough, all of Chandler; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Kelly Crary of Sparks; her daughter-in-law Levina Gough of Chandler; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren

She is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Loyal and Joy Sullivan; four sisters, Wanda Hayes, Rita Smothers, Jeanne Simon and Darlene Beloncik and husband Jon; two stepchildren, Robbie Galloway and Belinda Burton and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler with Pastor Keith Cole officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
