Mary Lee “Mim” Brown was born November 23, 1942, in Pawnee, Okla. She died Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in Stroud at the age of 79 years.
Brown, the daughter of Raymond and Marie (Harris) Tyner of Cushing, Okla., married Aaron Brown in the early 60’s.
She worked for the Sac and Fox Nation.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sons, Joe Estes of Cushing and Cody Tyner of Stroud; one brother and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Estes of Nowata, Okla., and Jerry Brown and wife Stephanie of Prague; three daughters, Tammy Brown of Rock Island, Ill., Anita Stevens of Davenport and Brandi Brown and husband Mike Loveland of Stroud; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Christian services were held Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Sac and Fox Community Center with burial following on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Sac and Fox Cemetery. Care services were provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
