Paul George Speer was born May 30, 1940, in Duncan, Okla., and died Thursday, March 24, 2022, in Wellston. He was 81 years old.
Speer, the son of Harold and Lenna (Cowan) Speer, married Patricia Mincks in 1957.
He worked as a roughneck in the oilfield and later became a certified welder. He owned and operated Speer Welding Service and was an ordained minister.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three children, Debra Milam, Curtis Speer and Paula Mullendore; three siblings, Betty Pearson, Geneva Coons and Harold Speer; one granddaughter; and his son-in-law Jerry Mullendore.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Speer of the home; his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Andy Wiley of Moore, Okla.; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; his sisters Linda Vickers of New Mexico, Joan Stanley of California and Janice Kincannon of Ada; and other family and friends.
A graveside funeral will be 11 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Rossville Cemetery following a fellowship visitation at Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements.
