Ray Leslie Tettleton was born January 7, 1938, in Edmond, Okla. He died Friday, August 27, 2021, at age of 83 years.
Following Tettleton’s retirement from the United States Postal Service, he worked as the janitor for the post office in Jones, Okla.
Preceding him in death were his parents James Quinton and Annie Eliza (Thomas) Tettleton; his brother James Paul Tettleton, twin sisters Thelma Tettleton and Velma Tettleton, sisters Joyce (Tettleton) Adams, Jim-a-Lu (Tettleton) Tompkins and his stepson Franky Hurley.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Ellen (McCoy) Tettleton; four stepchildren, Sandra (Hurley) Aaron and husband Jerry, Earnest Hurley and wife Patsy, Cynthia Hurley, John Hurley and wife Cindy; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Final arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
