Robert “Bob” Patrick Hoban was born to William and Evelyn (Beckius) Hoban on June 28, 1940, in Heartwell, Neb.
He died Saturday, March 26, 2022, at his home in Wellston. He was 81 years old.
Bob was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler. He worked on heavy equipment and owned and operated Track Shop Unlimited in Wellston.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, William Hoban and Jack Hoban; and his son Mike Barnes.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patricia (Fritzemeyer) Hoban of the home; three children, Beth Hendriks, Kelly Holt and Mark Hoban; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral mass was held Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with Father Tim Ruckel officiating. Burial followed at the Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
