Rose “Rosie” Mary (Kitchens) Johnson, 71, was born July 8, 1949, in Schulter, Okla. She died Saturday, October 24, 2020, in Stroud.
Johnson, the daughter of Thomas and Della (Langendorf) Kitchens, married Johnny Weatherly and later married Larry Gunter. She was married to Charlie Johnson on May 22, 1999, in Agra.
She worked in the shipyards in Norfolk, Va.; in management for Kens/ Mazzios Pizza; and started a bakery in Edmond, Okla.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her sister Lorretta Kitchens.
Survivors include her husband Charlie and grandson Wiley J. Gunter of the home; her children, Elizabeth Gordon, Shawnda Jameson, John Nicholas Weatherly, Amanda Gunter, Wiley Gunter and wife LaRay and Jennifer Gunter; her stepchildren, DeAnna Cotton and husband J. Paul, Stacey Johnson, and Clint Johnson; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings Stanley Kitchens and wife Jeanette and Joann Jones and husband Ellison; and other family and friends.
A memorial service was held Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Stroud Lake. Care Services were provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
