The bricks at the Veteran’s Memorial have been completed. If you purchased one, stop by and take a look. Town Talk volunteers worked very hard to make sure there were no errors on the bricks and were placed in the area requested. They turned out nicely and Town Talk appreciates each of you who added to the memorial.

If you are interested in helping in this endeavor, please contact Steve Massey.

Stroud Lake recently hosted a disc golf tournament.

They had over 100 participants playing both courses. If you haven’t been out to the lake, it’s worth a trip to see all the improvements that have been made over the last several years. We have a wonderful lake with lots of activities. Another reason we are Stroud Proud.

It was a cold and windy weekend full of baseball in Stroud. The restaurants were packed and hopefully our retail merchants benefited from the activity as well. Lincoln, August, and Gideon each played five baseball games and each of them scored a homerun. Both of their teams won championship rings. It was a great weekend of baseball for the Smalley boys. Stroud Middle School will be playing in a tournament in Wellston beginning today, March 28th. If you are interested, please call Lou Cooper at the Middle School for game times. The high school baseball team will also host a tournament March 28-30 here in Stroud. Come out and support them and enjoy the new baseball complex.
