Above, Chandler’s Kalee Perry starts her lift during squat competition Thursday in the Bethel Invitational meet at Firelake Area in Shawnee. She had 280 pounds in the squat, 135 in the bench-press and 250 in the dead lift, for a first-place total of 665 pounds, 70 pounds better than the runnerup in her class.
