Stroud got on the winning track Friday, beating Okemah 38-22 in the final non-district game.
The Tigers were up 38-0 after three quarters. “Our kids played hard and really took care of the football, which is always a good thing for us” said Stroud head coach Josh Presley. “After two tough losses, it’s good to get the first win and get things going for district.”
The game was all Stroud’s, as the Tigers out-gained the Panthers 366 yards to 289.
The Tigers travel to Liberty Friday night to open district play. Liberty finished non-district play at 1-2, as well. Okemah 0 0 0 22 - 22 Stroud 6 18 14 0 - 38 Stroud Okemah
