Thanksgiving deadline

The Lincoln County News will print a day early Thanksgiving week to allow for delivery before Thanksgiving.Deadlines for ads, obituaries and news items will be 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21.The paper will go to press Monday night, Nov. 25, and will be available in racks and stores on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Improvements for Chandler airport

Stroud man charged with rape

A Stroud man faces two rape charges and a third felony following his arrest by the Stroud police chief.Two counts of rape by instrumentation and one charge of pattern of criminal offenses were formally filed in Lincoln County District Court recently against Charles Douglas LeMaster, 61.

Lincoln County commissioners were informed during Monday’s meeting that the county has been included in a State of Emergency Declaration due to storms that struck the county early Sunday morning.Gov. Kevin Stitt declared the State of Emergency on Sunday for several Oklahoma counties.

Stone wins at nationals
