A plea has been continued for a couple of months for an exconvict facing two felonies and a misdemeanor following his arrest by Highway Patrol troopers on the Turner Turnpike.Charles Michael Brownlee, 39, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on Nov.

Stroud school board approves students’ free meals

Starting with the upcoming school year, all students from pre-K to high school in Stroud Public Schools will be able to eat breakfast and lunch at no cost.Superintendent Joe Van Tuyl recommended to the school board that they approve providing meals at their meeting on July 11, which they did.
