Jewley Christine Wright passed away on February 25, 2023, at her home in Parkland surrounded by her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing. Jewley was born October 31, 1973, in Wichita, Kansas to parents Jimmy and Zelma Watkins.

Cletus Ann (Ward) Simpson

Cletus Ann (Ward) Simpson was born May 6, 1942 in Kilgore, Texas to Howard and Hazel Ward. She passed away February 22, 2023 in her home in Davenport at the age of 80. Cletus grew up in Davenport where she graduated high school with the class of 1960.

Dorothy McFarland

Floyd’s siblings- Richard McFarland and Mary Phillips; Dorothy’s siblings- Mazie Sanders, Caroly Crowe, Glenda McFerron, Samantha Deer, Sammy Deer and Anett Melson; as well as 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Betty Harris

Betty Harris was born in 1932 and passed away February 24, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Walter Harris. She is survived by three children-Victor Harris, Lisa Harris, and Rick Harris; seven grandchildren nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Kathy Jean Dinse of Porum, OK passed away on Tuesday February 21, 2023, at the age of 63. Kathy was born in Oklahoma City, OK on September 12, 1959. She was the daughter of Phyllis and Kenneth Bay.

Sandra Lou Johnson

Sandra Lou Johnson, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. She was 81 years old. Sandra was born on January 13, 1942 in Chandler, OK to Harold and Clara Eyestone. Sandra attended Victor, a tworoom country school northeast of Chandler, completing eight grades in seven years.

Carl Dwight Thompson

Carl Dwight Thompson was born at Agra, Oklahoma on October 11, 1944 to the Alva & Ellen ( Wittman) Thompson. He passed from this life in Drumright on January 26, 2023 at the age of 78 years, 3 months, & 15 days. His remains will be buried in the Parkland Cemetery at a later date.

Charissia Dawn Akers

Charissia Dawn Michelle Akers was born September 6, 1993 in Ada, to Vickie Jean Harris and Donald Lee Akers. She passed away February 13, 2023 in Norman at the age of 29. Charissia attended Wellston Schools along with online schooling until later receiving her GED.

Joy Elizabeth Hudson Hart

Joy Elizabeth Hudson Hart, of Okesa, Oklahoma was born in Atlantic Field, Osage County, Oklahoma, on April 9th, 1935 to Quincy and Doshia Hoopes (Clark). Joy leapt into the arms of Jesus on the morning of February 17, 2023. She passed peacefully with her husband Merton and family by her side.
