Sullivan squatted 525 pounds, deadlifted 535 and bench-pressed 300 to win the 280-pound weight class in the small school division. His points helped the Chandler’s boys win the small school championship. Chandler’s Kalee Perry and Emi Mc-Guire also took first place in their divisions, helping the Chandler girls to a third-place finish. Other area lifters who placed in the small school division include Kason Presley, 2nd, Stroud, 242 pounds; Felix Cargill, Chandler, 3rd, 132 pounds; Colton Harrison, Stroud, 3rd, 168 pounds; Christian Goeller, Chandler, 5th, 123 pounds; Keagan Edwards, Meeker, 5th, 157 pounds; James Fine, Chandler, 5th, 220 pounds; Jaxon Raper, Chandler, 4th, 242 pounds; Kaden Grubbs, Chandler, 5th, Heavyweight. At left are the combined girls and boys teams from Chandler. Chandler’s 8th grade teams won first in the junior high competition. The meet was reportedly the largest invitational meet ever held in Oklahoma, with 1,120 high school and more than 800 junior high lifters competing. For more photos, see Page 1D.
