Victory Christian came up with two massive fourth-conversions in the fourth quarter and ended Chandler’s season in the state quarterfinals, 46-35. The first came with 8:42 left in the game and VC ahead 3428 but facing fourthand-20 at the Chandler 31.

Fairview edges Tigers

Fairview stymied a second-half Stroud comeback and beat the Tigers, 27-21, Friday night, eliminating them from the playoffs. The loss snapped a 10game Stroud winning streak and finished the Tigers’ season at 10-3. “We had our chance,” said Stroud head coach Josh Presley.

Chandler dominates Frederick

The first offensive play of the game foreshadowed the following 48 minutes Friday night. Chandler’s offensive line cleared a hole for quarterbaack Alec Jackson, who sprinted 85 yards before being tackled at the Frederick 5-yard line.

Stroud grabs 10th straight

Stroud’s defense dominated Commerce Friday night, leading the Tigers to a 39-20 win in the second round of the Class A playoffs. The victory was the tenth in a row for the Tigers, who will face unbeaten Fairview in the quarterfinald at 7 p.m. Friday in Kingfisher.
