Stroud Council paves way for youth center

The Stroud City Council voted on Dec. 12 to conditionally move forward with allowing the operation of a youth center in the town. They have tentatively allowed the use of a building at 315 W.

Stroud man pleads in felony charges

AStroud man who is facing eight felonies following his arrest by officers and who has been bound over to stand trial has pleaded innocent.Formal charges were filed Sep. 24, 2024 in Lincoln County District Court against Acey Ambrose Murphy, 33.

The season of sickness

The Chandler High School Pom Squad is the 3A Jazz State Champion for the third year in a row. The team competed at the OSDTDA State Championships on Dec. 13 and 14 in Tulsa at the Cox Communication Center.
