ThePragueSchoolBoard swore in newest member David Johnson into Seat #1 at its regular meeting on April 13.According to the meeting’s minutes, JarrodVanZant administered the Oath of Office for Johnson.

The Chandler School Board passed a slate of regular renewals, along with personnel resignations at its regular meeting on April 13.

Man charged with two felonies

District Attorney Adam Panter filed two felony charges involving child sexual abuse material and obscene material against a man who resides in Chandler on March 17.

Prague swept the team championships at the 66 Conference track meet last week, the girls edging Stroud by less than a point and the boys winning handily.The girls finished with 165.66 points to Stroud’s 165, and got the .66 of a point by virtue of a three-way tie for sixth place in the high jump.

Lady Lion golfers qualify for state

Chandler’s girls golf team shot a season-best 366 Monday at Riverside Golf Course in Clinton and qualified for the Class 3A state tournament.The state tournament will be May 4-5 at The Territory Golf and Country Club in Duncan.
