School board filing period

The three-day filing period for school board offices opens next Monday, Dec. 5, and runs through Wednesday, Dec. 7. Election Board offices in Lincoln and Pottawatomie Counties will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

One-cent tax renewal to be on Feb. 14 ballot

Lincoln County commissioners have adopted a resolution calling for an election to renew the one cent county sales tax for another five years. As they voted to adopt the resolution, they also changed some of the ballot language.
