Here are results from the Meeker FFA jackpot hog show, which was held Saturday at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Chandler. Grand Champion - Katy Simon, Light cross Reserve - Baylee Weeks, Dark cross.

Dale superintendent submits resignation

The Dale Board of Education has approved of accepting a retirement letter from Acting Supt. Ky Wilkins and longtime financial secretary Paula Ramsey announced she also is retiring. Wilkins’ retirement becomes effective June 30 this year and Ramsey said she is retiring on the same date.

Meeker keeps Pruitt as superintendent

The Meeker Board of Education this week voted to offer a contract to School Supt. Jeff Pruitt for the 2022-2023 school year. The board went into executive session before returning to the open meeting and taking the vote.
