Danny “Dan” Dranger Thurston was born to Larry Thurston and Helen Sneed on June 13, 1962.He died Sunday, May 30, 2021, at his ranch in Wellston. He was 58 years old. Dan was preceded in Dan was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Erin Thurston.

Dale gets insurance cost hike

The Dale Board of Education this week approved property and casualty insurance for 2021-2022, but will be paying more for it. Kyle Rosebure, representing OSIG, informed the board the $127,000 premium they would be paying for the insurance is a 20 percent increase over a year ago.

Theatre camp

Lincoln County On-Stage is putting on a theatre camp this summer. The camp will be at Chandler High School’s Performing Arts Center, and the dates are July 19-22 and July 26-29. The camp will be split into two groups.
