University of Central Oklahoma
Two students from Lincoln County were recently honored at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond with the Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship for demonstrating talent and distinguished achievement in leadership, citizenship, service and communication.
Connor Benn of Meeker and Lani Hensley of Stroud were among 29 students chosen from 179 finalists who were interviewed by UCO faculty and staff leaders.
They will both receive a tuition waiver for nine hours of classes each semester, a $1,250 yearly stipend for room and board and a one-time $1,000 global and service stipend.
Oklahoma State University
A Lincoln County student recently was honored by the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture with an academic scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. Austin Reedy, an agribusiness student from Agra, received the Triangle Insurance Scholarship.
