Amelia Belle (Smith) Giles was born May 31, 1925, in Oklahoma City. She died Thursday, June 17, 2021, in Chandler at the age of 96 years.
Giles, the daughter of Jesse and Edna (Elver) Smith, married Lloyd Giles in 1945.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston and later Highland Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and her siblings, Jesse Smith, Benjamin Smith, Lilly Vick and Billy Smith.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jerry Shultz of Texas and other family and friends.
A graveside memorial service was held Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Wellston Cemetery with the Rev. Lane Buckley officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
