Lincoln County commissioners have approved the Fiscal Year 2022 Estimate Needs and they also have been approved by the Lincoln County Excise Board.
The commissioners’ action came during its most recent regular meeting. Chairman Lee Doolen said the Estimate of Needs totals approximately $7 million.
The following day, the commissioners met with the Excise Board and board members approved that amount as well, Doolen said.
The commissioners also adopted a new policy requiring them to review and approve or deny Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Compliance Certificates in open meeting.
With that, and following the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney, commissioners then took no action on 10 OMMA Compliance Certificates until the DA’s office has a chance to review them to ensure they are legal.
Commissioners are expected to take them up at their next regular meeting on July 6.
They also approved an Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma sub-grant agreement and sub-awards policies and procedures.
They adopted a reimbursement resolution for the Lincoln County Election Board for Fiscal Year 2022.
