A funeral service will be held for Patricia Gayle (Adams) Pixley at 2 p.m., Friday, July 9, 2021, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Shawnee, Okla. Burial will follow at Wolf Cemetery near Bowlegs, Okla., under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
Pixley was born May 31, 1939, in Okemah, Okla., and died Sunday, July 4, 2021, in Oklahoma City. She was 82 years old.
Preceding her in death were her parents Clifton and DeWilma (DeWeber) Adams; her husband of 22 years, Bobby Ray Pixley; two sons, John Scott Pixley and Robert Vic Pixley; and three siblings, Deanna Kay (Adams) Schmidt, Gary Ronald Adams and John Earl Adams.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Paul Myers; her son Mark Pixley; 10 grandchildren and their spouses; 15 great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Linda Adams; her sisters-in-law Peggy Pixley and Carrie Adams; and other family and friends.
