Janice Rush of Davenport was born January 11, 1937, in New York, N.Y., and died Wednesday, July 14, 2021. She was 84 years old.
Rush, daughter of John R. Coots and Barbara Bicknell Coots, married Marvin Rush in Feb. 1955.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, Johnny Rush.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and Jack Sanders, and Kristi Croom; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Darla Rush; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five sisters and their spouses, Becky and Max Wright, Debbie and Jesse Rogers, Nancy Heribson Evans, Bonnie and Rich Dollen, and Ginny York; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held July 19, 2021, in the chapel of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, which handled the final arrangements. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Memory Care Unit Aquarium addressed to The Renaissance of Stillwater, 1400 E. McElroy Road, Stillwater, OK 74075.
