Carol Louise Nicholson was born February 1, 1938, in Adrian, Mich., and died Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in Houston, Mo. She was 83 years old.
The daughter of Earl and Lucille (Hiftline) Ries, she married Jerry Borton in 1959. Following his death after 34 years of marriage , she married Charles Nicholson in 1999.
She worked as a certified nursing assistant and retired from Walmart. She was a member of Friends Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, both husbands and an infant sister Linda.
Survivors include four children, Linda, Michael, Mark and David; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
The family hosted a Celebration of Her Life on Wednesday July 21, 2021, at Houston First Baptist Church. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home in Houston.
