Funeral services will be held for Della Mae Elizabeth (Peace) Milner at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 14, 2021, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston. Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery under their direction.
Milner was born June 27, 1934, in Wellston and died Sunday, August 8, 2021 at her home in Bristow, Okla. She was 87 years old.
The daughter of Helmuth and Ethel (Arrant) Peace, she married Robert “Bob” E. Milner on January 14, 1952.
She was a professional seamstress working for Beech Aircraft in Wichita, Kan., Miss Elaine’s in Bristow and a garment factory in Tulsa.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; two brothers, Helmuth Peace Jr. and Floyd Peace; her sister-in-law Minnie Peace; brother-in-law Jim Pattison; daughter-in-law Elsie Milner; and two granddaughters.
Survivors include her siblings and their spouses, Laura and Bennie Pattison of Wellston, Corene and John Johnson of Oklahoma City, and Melvin Peace of Morristown, Ariz.; children and their spouses, Robert “Bobby” E. Milner Jr. of Wichita, Billy Lynn Milner of Arkansas City, Kan., Gary Wayne and Rosemary of Leon, Kan., Elizabeth Ann and Red Patanaude and Alan Dale and Michelle Milner, all of Bristow, Melinda Jo and Larry Venn of Derby, Kan., Steven Ray Milner of Andover, Kan., and Rodney Dee and Samantha Milner of Tulsa; 21 grandchildren; 51 greatgrandchildren; six greatgreat grandchildren; and other family and friends.
