William “Bill” Burl Craig of Wellston was born November 12, 1943, in Anadarko, Okla., and died Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Shawnee, Okla. He was 77 years old.
Craig, the son of Augustus Lawrence and Aileen Alms (Lane) Craig, married Patricia A. Stebbens on June 16, 1964, in Buffalo, Okla.
A veteran of the United States Army Reserves, he and his wife owned and operated numerous businesses in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.
His parents, his brother James Craig and his sister Kay Dingus, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Patti Craig of the home, his son Darren Craig of Wellston, two grandchildren and other family and friends.
There will be no service at this time due to the spread of COVID-19. Final arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
