A memorial service will be held for Sonja Dee Brown Owens at 1 p.m., today, September 16, 2021, at First Christian Church in Stroud. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
Owens was born to Ralph and Theda Brown on September 9, 1962, in Tulsa, Okla. She died Sunday, September 5, 2021, at the age of 58 years. A 1980 graduate of
A 1980 graduate of Stroud High School, she worked at Stroud Health Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Theda Buchanan and her brother Charles Brown.
Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Henderson and Kali Owens; one grandson; her siblings, David Brown and wife Brenda, Shirley Todd and husband Skip and R ocky Buchanan; and other family and friends.
